Expelled American priest “Johnson” returns to Algeria for Missionary drive

Reliable sources told Echorouk that the former head of the Protestant Church, the American priest “Johnson”, who was expelled from Algeria on February 2008, because of the end of the period of his residence in Algeria, has recently returned to Algiers and stayed in an Algerian locality for almost ten days, as he visited many regions and churches, bringing with him a number of recommendations to the Christians as well as financial aid to complete the project of building a new church in this locality.

      

  • According to available data, this priest, known for his activity in the field of evangelism returned to Algeria after being expelled in February 2008 in order to stand on the projects of Missionary in the region, following the visit to Algiers.
  • Following contacts with some Christians in charge of controlling the Missionary cells, he began a tour through many churches in different regions of the locality.
  • Our sources confirmed that the American priest stayed in this locality for almost ten days and met with many Protestants and visited a number of churches, where he verified the activity of missionary, which he led in the past, and made recommendations for the members of the cells of Missionary, to expand their activity in order to attract as much people as possible to Christianity, as these recommendations as part of a strategy in the Missionary activities by this priest.
